CENTURION ACCOMMODATION & MODULAR (UK) SUPPORTS LOCAL COMMUNITY EVENT

Centurion Accommodation & Modular (UK) is proud to have recently supported the Midsummer Beer Happening, a local charity event held in Stonehaven, Aberdeenshire.

The annual festival raises money for local charities and not-for-profit organizations bringing thousands of visitors together to enjoy award-winning food, drink, and local music. The festival also includes a “Cycling Sportive”, comprised of four route variations for all skill levels ranging from 40-100 miles around scenic Aberdeenshire.

The Centurion Accommodation & Modular team donated a state-of-the-art, self-contained, fully insulated Eco Welfare Unit to the event. Fitted with a solar-powered light, wind turbine and heating system, the unit provided a safe and comfortable canteen for staff and volunteer downtime, and a sustainable space for the event team to recharge card machines and radios throughout the festival.

Raising £61,000 this year, the event funds were donated to more than 30 local good causes including local schools, care homes, Alzheimer’s Scotland, Guide Dogs and a variety of local athletic societies such as yacht, swimming, sea cadets, cricket, dance, and gymnastics clubs.
