CENTURION ACCOMMODATION & MODULAR DELIVERS RAPID, MODIFIED CARGO BASKET RENTAL FOR EUROPEAN PROJECT

Centurion’s Accommodation & Modular (UK) business line recently supported a key customer in the energy sector by providing customised cargo basket solutions for a critical project in Europe.

The customer required an urgent replacement for standard cargo baskets with specific modifications to suit offshore handling and safety requirements. Centurion responded by deploying its 60ft/18m Step Change in Safety Cargo Baskets – a proven solution for complex and heavy-duty mobilisations.

To meet the project's operational demands, the team made swift and precise modifications, including the addition of internal lashing points and the replacement of lifting slings with 2 x 2-leg wire rope slings and shackles, fully compliant with NORSOK specifications. The equipment was delivered ahead of schedule, ensuring seamless mobilisation for the customer.
