APL DEMONSTRATES CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT, SUCCESSFULLY RENEWS INDUSTRY CERTIFICATION

Aerial Platforms Limited (APL), part of Centurion’s UK & Europe region, has successfully renewed its IPAF certification, reinforcing its ongoing commitment to safe and compliant Mobile Elevated Work Platform (MEWP) operations.

IPAF certification is a recognized industry benchmark, with auditors assessing documented procedures, personnel competence, quality of risk assessments and rescue planning, maintenance standards, and clear evidence that systems are consistently applied in day-to-day operations.

This year’s result marks a particularly strong achievement, with a 10% improvement on last year’s audit score reflecting a focused, team-wide effort. Following last year’s audit, colleagues worked collaboratively to strengthen pre-use checks, planning processes, record keeping, communication, and supervisory consistency across the business.

Renewing certification with a 10% uplift in performance is a significant milestone and demonstrates the value of collective accountability in maintaining high safety standards.
