Centurion UKEC Business Lines Support Critical Decommissioning Scope

Centurion Accommodation & Modular (UK), Centurion Fluid Filtration (UK) and Centurion Flushing & Testing (UK) have delivered a bespoke decommissioning scope for a key North Sea operator.

Combining their capabilities, the three business lines delivered several large tanks complete with crossover connections, modified bunds, and pumping equipment. The package will support the decanting of diesel stored in the legs of an offshore platform, and removal of hazardous drains to allow for its safe and efficient decommissioning. Centurion Accommodation & Modular also hosted the System Integration Testing (SIT), demonstrating the equipment’s easy plug-and-play hook-up to meet the requirements of the scope of work.

This packaged equipment solution provided by the Centurion teams will enable the customer to successfully remove the hazardous material from an aging asset, and achieve a key part of the decommissioning scope on the platform.

With further decommissioning projects planned for later in 2024 and beyond with similar rental packages required, Centurion is well placed to support upcoming critical decommissioning activities.
