KABIN HIRE SUPPORTS AIRPORT SOLAR INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECT WITH SPECIALIST HAULAGE SOLUTION

Kabin Hire, part of Centurion’s UK & Europe region, has successfully delivered a specialist haulage solution in support of a major airport infrastructure upgrade linked to a new solar farm development.

The project involved the collection, transportation, and on-site placement of a pre-fabricated enclosure for a UK-based airport’s new main incoming electrical substation. Careful coordination and planning ensured the unit was delivered safely and positioned accurately, meeting both logistical and site requirements.

The substation forms a critical component of the airport’s upcoming solar farm, which will supply electricity via a private wire network. Once operational, the solar farm is expected to deliver a significant reduction in carbon emission for the airport.
