ATEX Inspection & Maintenance of Electrical Portable Equipment

Centurion Power & Equipment provides full hazardous area ATEX Inspections, Testing and Maintenance on equipment suitable for hazardous areas, including Zone 0, Zone 1 and Zone 2.

Our team of Hazardous Areas experts have backgrounds in ATEX Inspection, Testing and Maintenance for not only our own rental fleet, but also for many of our blue-chip customers who entrust us with their equipment. All equipment is inspected, tested and maintained in accordance with BS60079.

We provide Inspection, Testing and Maintenance services for the following types of ATEX equipment:

• ATEX fabrication equipment
• ATEX low voltage lighting & distribution 24v – 480v
• ATEX Water Jetting Equipment.

Our highly trained, experienced and certified ATEX inspections engineers, electricians and technicians are all “CompEx” certified to Ex01-Ex04 and have specialized expertise working in ATEX hazardous area environments, carrying out the following activities:

• Ex01: The preparation and installation of Ex ‘d’, ‘n’, ‘e’ and ‘p’ electrical equipment in explosive atmospheres
• Ex02: The inspection and maintenance of Ex ‘d’, ‘n’, ‘e’ and ‘p’ electrical equipment in explosive atmospheres
• Ex03: The preparation and installation of Ex ‘i’ equipment and systems in explosive atmospheres
• Ex04: The inspection and maintenance of Ex ‘i’ equipment and systems in explosive atmospheres
