Main Purpose of the Role: This role will follow approved company procedures to maintain stock levels and ensure all incoming and outgoing stock is handled safely and logged accurately in the company systems. Assist in the build, maintenance and service of Filtration Equipment

Main Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Receive all incoming goods according to procedure; this will involve loading and unloading items ensuring storage areas are maintained in a neat, tidy and safe condition at all times.
  • Ensure goods delivered are accurate in quantity and match delivery notes to purchase order (liaise with procurement on any queries)
  • Book in deliveries on Sage 200 and ensure material certificates received.
  • Ensure incoming stock is tagged for traceability
  • Ensure stock movements are recorded
  • Co-ordinate with Engineering Supervisor for daily material requirements
  • Carry out stock takes and liaise with Engineering Supervisor (if any discrepancies)
  • Participate in the general day-to-day warehouse and operational activities that are required to assist the company in its business
  • Use and maintain power tools.
  • General workshop labour.
  • Any other related or associated roles, tasks or duties, which they can be trained, instructed and supervised to do safely and according to changing business requirements.
  • Keep work areas clean and organised.
  • Observe all the Company policies and procedures relating to work, administration, HSSEQ and ESG
  • Act as an ambassador for safety demonstrating safe behaviours
  • Live our Centurion values and apply them in day-to-day activities
  • The job holder may be required to carry out any other related or associated roles, tasks or duties, which they can be trained, instructed and supervised to do safely and according to changing business requirements.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience of working in a similar role within a manufacturing environment beneficial
  • Have relevant industry knowledge, and experience in a workshop setting
  • Good knowledge of health and safety
  • Strong attention to detail, working to high standards
  • Numeracy and literacy skills
  • Effective communication skills (written and oral)
  • Ability to learn new skills
  • Work to tight deadlines in a safe and accurate manner
  • Ability to work unsupervised in diligent and safe manner
  • Forklift Certification is preferred
  • Enthusiastic, committed and a fast learner with previous experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliable self-starter who can work independently as well as within a team, and under own initiative
